Celebrant
I love people. Human connection has always been at the centre of my work - as a performer, an educator, and as a humanist celebrant. I love telling stories and honouring the moments that shape our lives. It’s a genuine privilege to stand beside individuals and families at the most significant moments of their lives and offer a professional, heartfelt ceremony they will always remember.
I create bespoke ceremonies, crafted entirely around you — your story, your humour, your quirks, your memories. Whether you’re looking for something joyful, reflective, heartfelt, light‑hearted, or a blend of everything, your ceremony should feel unmistakably yours.
I celebrate all people - all identities, all backgrounds, all sexualities, all the beautiful ways humans choose to love and live. Whoever you are and whoever you love, you are welcome here.
Wedding Ceremony
Your wedding ceremony is the moment everything begins - the atmosphere, the energy, the love, the laughter. It sets the tone for the day you’ll remember for the rest of your lives. My role is to shape a ceremony that feels effortless, joyful, and completely true to who you are as a couple.
I take the time to get to know you — how you met, what you love about each other, the quirks that make your relationship yours, and the moments that brought you to this “yes.” From there, I craft a ceremony that feels natural, personal, and full of heart.
Whether you imagine something fun and lively, tender and romantic, relaxed and modern, your ceremony will be created with you at the core.

Funeral Ceremony
When planning a funeral or memorial, I’m here to support you in creating a service that truly celebrates your loved one and honours the life they lived. Every life is a tapestry of stories — the good, the difficult, the hilarious, the outrageous — and sharing these memories can bring comfort, connection, and even moments of gentle laughter when they’re needed most.
My role is to listen to your stories and shape them into a ceremony that reflects the person you’re remembering. Whether you want something simple and heartfelt, warm and humorous, or rich with personal detail, I will hold everything you share with care. Whatever you’d like expressed to family and friends, I’ll communicate it with warmth, respect, and sincerity.
Naming Ceremony
Welcoming a new wee human into the world is a moment worth celebrating, and a naming ceremony is a beautiful way to gather the people who matter most and mark the beginning of their story. These ceremonies can be gentle, joyful, funny, heartfelt — whatever feels right for your family and the wee person at the centre of it all.
It’s a simple, meaningful ritual that welcomes this new life into the family, showing your love and support while sharing your hopes and dreams for their future.
I’ll work with you to shape a ceremony that reflects your values and the unique personality thats already shining through in your baby — whether that includes readings, promises, symbolic gestures, or simply a warm, relaxed moment surrounded by love. There are no rules here, just the freedom to create something truly memorable and have a party.
Booking Process
Choosing the right celebrant is deeply personal. You deserve someone you feel comfortable with — someone who understands the atmosphere you want to create.
I offer a free 30‑minute Zoom consultation so we can meet, chat, and get a feel for each other. No pressure, no commitment — just a relaxed chance to connect and see if it feels like the right fit.
If you’d like to go ahead (and I’m available on your ceremony date), a £150 deposit will secure your booking and hold the date in my diary.

Humanism is a secular philosophy that doesn’t follow any religion or belief system. Instead, it focuses on people - our values, our relationships, and our ability to lead meaningful, ethical lives guided by reason, compassion, and our shared humanity.
You don’t need to be a Humanist to have a ceremony. It’s simply an approach that celebrates personal choice, inclusivity, and the freedom to mark life’s important moments in a way that feels authentic to you.

I am indeed. I’m affiliated with the humanist charity A Quiet Revolution, who are a registered body in Scotland. They authorise fully legal humanist weddings.
A Quiet Revolution is a Scottish Humanist charity whose mission is to promote humanist values and create meaningful, personalised ceremonies guided by kindness. They’re the organisation that grants celebrants the legal authority to marry couples anywhere in Scotland.
Your ceremony is legally recognised, and your paperwork is fully supported through the charity. Take a look at the website to see what lovely things we’re getting up to now!

Here’s the fun part - in Scotland, you can legally get married anywhere. The legal authority sits with your celebrant or registrar, not the venue, which means you’re free to choose a location that feels completely “you”.
If your heart is set on woodlands, up a munro, beside a loch, or somewhere wonderfully unexpected, we can make that happen. Your ceremony can be as adventurous, intimate, or traditional as you want it to be. Whatever wild ideas you dream up could be entirely possible.

For funerals, I usually wear dark or black professional clothing so I can blend in and keep the focus where it should be. If there’s a colour theme you’d like me to be part of, I’m always happy to honour that - just let me know.
For weddings, I like to give couples a few options so you can choose what suits your style and vibe. I have everything from a hot pink suit to relaxed, simple outfits to classic black workwear. Whatever your colour scheme or personality, I’ll match it. My aim is always to complement your day, not distract from it.

It has genuinely never happened, and unless my leg is hanging off, I will be there! I get regular flu jags - my immune system is top notch and I don’t do sick days.
That said, it’s always sensible to have a worst‑case‑scenario plan. If something truly unexpected stopped me from attending, one of my wonderful colleagues at A Quiet Revolution would step in. They would deliver the ceremony using the script I’ve already written for you, so nothing changes and your ceremony goes ahead exactly as planned.
You will never be left without a celebrant, and your service will always be taken care of.

I most certainly am. I’m fully vetted through Disclosure Scotland and have an active PVG membership, which covers working with everyone including children and vulnerable groups.
I’m also fully insured through my organisation, A Quiet Revolution.
